End stage periodontal disease treated with dental implants and metal acrylic denture-immediate -For a young woman..

Patient  came with a total inability to chew her food due to badly loosened teeth . Patient was also under severe distress that her condition and the appearance of her teeth in general was  affecting her social  life as  well  .

Intra oral view of the patient  shows  severly mobile  teeth due to  end – stage   periodontitis  . Almost all the teeth were grade  3  mobile  and about  to fall  at  the  slightest  impact . Patient is also a known diabetic since past 10 years but failed to take any medications for the same .


             Floating  teeth appearance  due severe  generalized periodontitis  


We planned for total extraction and immediate loading Single piece BCS   implant placement  followed by provisional denture placement

2 days after implant placement in the upper arch shows good healing

     4 days after implant procedure shows excellent &        uneventful healing

Upper and lower metal acrylic provisional dentures were inserted  . Patient now smiles  confidently  and was able to chew food  well & eat . Permanent  ceramic bridges can be given after final  healing
